JOB PURPOSE
1. Participate in projects within the Research & Development programme.

1. Minimum of “A” LEVEL (or equivalent) in chemistry, preferably degree.

2. Carry out specific practical tasks for members of the R&D laboratory.
3. Carry out allocated lab housekeeping tasks.
1. Maintain a safe and tidy work environment for the benefit of all team members.
2. Carry out project work to ensure that the objectives of the project can be met.
3. Provide practical support for internal customers to ensure that information they need is supplied.
4. Carry out routine product testing so that technical information for products is available
5. Maintain records of work so that project files are accurate records of activities to develop new products
6. Operate within the parameters determined by the Company’s Quality Policy.
7. Adhere to all systems and procedures that the Company has instituted to meet statutory requirements and Group Policy on Health, Safety and Environmental Protection.
1. Accurately following formulations and mixing instructions for products.
2. Performing product testing and evaluations accurately.
3. Accurately reporting observations during product manufacture and testing.
4. Actively contribute to the success of R&D projects.
2. Previous laboratory experience
3. Knowledge of relevant quality control test methods and performance tests.
